Books, curiosity and connection.

I’m Kip Roberson, founder of Le Bouledogue Vagabond. I’m a librarian and Director of Library Services at Teton County Library in Jackson, Wyoming. My library career has taken me across the United States and to Canada, with a particular attachment to small communities.

That work has taught me that a book recommendation is often the beginning of a conversation. Welcoming people, listening and helping each reader find a book that speaks to them: that is the spirit I want to bring to Le Bouledogue Vagabond.

For Rennes, I’m imagining a travelling literary bookshop: a cargo bike, books in French and English, and encounters that connect readers with the stories and places of Rennes and Brittany. My favourite shelves? Travel, historical nonfiction and books with a few good chills.

I’m currently developing the project from the United States. Launch dates and the first Rennes gatherings will be announced once confirmed.
