Information, purposes and legal bases
We use your first name, last name, email address and message to answer your questions and manage correspondence. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us. Where you request steps before entering a contract, the processing necessary for those steps relies on that basis.
Required fields are marked; without them the form cannot be submitted. You may also email us directly. Please avoid unnecessary sensitive information. Sending a message does not subscribe you to a newsletter or authorise unrelated marketing.
Providers may process technical information (IP address, browser/device, pages visited, timestamps and interaction signals) to deliver the website and prevent errors, fraud and bots. These activities serve our legitimate interest in providing a secure, working service.
Providers and recipients
The project founder and people authorised to handle your enquiry may access correspondence. Squarespace hosts the website and stores submissions; Google Workspace receives form notifications in our business mailbox. No additional Google Drive, Zapier or Mailchimp storage is connected to the forms.
Forms use Google reCAPTCHA to prevent abuse. Google processes this service's data under its Cloud processing terms. This is separate from Workspace email processing.
Retention
General enquiries and replies are kept while handled and for up to 12 months after the last exchange. Quarterly reviews remove expired enquiries from forms, contacts, email and exports. Tests and spam are removed after review. Partnership correspondence is reviewed when the relationship ends; further retention must be justified by the relationship, a legal obligation or legal claims.
Technical data and cookies follow the service-specific periods or criteria in the provider documentation below; the correspondence rule of 12 months does not apply to them. Backup copies may remain until deletion under the provider's deletion cycles.
Cookies and choices
Squarespace's non-essential cookies are restricted. No Google Analytics identifier is configured. Security and form functions, including Google reCAPTCHA, may use cookies or similar technologies. reCAPTCHA can initialize when a contact page opens, before you enter or submit a message. Restricting Squarespace’s non-essential cookies does not disable these functions or every technical processing activity by providers.
See the cookie names, functions and durations documented by Squarespace and reCAPTCHA information. You can delete or block cookies through your browser; this may affect the form. You can contact us by email instead.
Processing outside the EEA
Squarespace and Google may process data in several countries, including the United States. The founder may also access correspondence from the United States while preparing the project. We do not promise exclusively European hosting. Provider contractual commitments include safeguards for relevant transfers, including the Data Privacy Framework where applicable and/or standard contractual clauses. See the Squarespace DPA and Google CDPA. Contact us for information about safeguards applicable to your data.
Your rights
Subject to legal conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, or object to processing. Where consent is used, it may be withdrawn for the future. Email our contact address; proportionate identity verification may be requested where there is reasonable doubt. We normally respond within one month, subject to justified legal extensions.
You can complain to the CNIL, 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France. This policy will be updated following registration, the launch of new functions or changes in processing.
